That closed sign on the Hi-way Restaurant may be up a little while longer but that doesn’t mean work isn’t being done behind the scenes.
Nick Kokkoros is the General Manager and Partner at Barrel Restaurant, just down the road on the Queensway.
They purchased the Hi-Way after the former owner announced retirement, but notes people may have to wait a little while before that closed sign it turned back over to open.
While they are still working out the next steps, the question remains – why would they purchase another restaurant just down the road?
In the mean time, Kokkoros is hoping the Hi-Way diehards will consider checking out their menu and their visions aligned – a focus on great quality food.
He concluded just thanking to public for their support at the Barrel and their purchasing of the Highway.
He suggests people stay connected to their social media pages as they will provide updates whenever possible.
