There could be more retail space, with residential units on top, directly across the road from Sobeys in Simcoe.
Today (Wednesday) our elected officials are looking at an application that would change the space, currently housing three residential lots, into a commercial spot at the corner of Norfolk Street South and Decou Road.
Some public comments have been received expressing concern at what they feel is an already busy intersection at stop light by Sobeys and have concerns about what a new commercial space directly across the road would do to escalate the situation further.
