Starting Saturday (June 15), visitors to some lakeside areas in Norfolk County will need to pay for parking until Labour Day.
Paid parking will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, costing $4 per hour.
Locations:
Port Dover: Clinton Street parking lot, Lift Bridge Parking Lot, Harbour Street.
Turkey Point: Cedar Drive and the main beach.
Long Point: Erie Boulevard, Abigail Becker parking lot.
Visitors can pay via the HotSpot app, QR codes, or pay terminals using Visa, Mastercard, or Debit Tap (no cash).
Norfolk County residents can get a permit for $35 per vehicle.
Parking without payment will result in a $75 fine.
