A fatal fire in Tillsonburg.
It happened in the early morning hours on Saturday at a house on John Pound Road.
When emergency crews showed up, the OPP noticed heavy smoke coming from the home and firefighters discovered a person in the front room.
Life saving efforts were given but the person was ultimately pronounced deceased.
A neighbor, alerted to the situation, entered the garage, detected thick smoke, and called 911.
The cause of the fire has been determined not suspicious.
