A new Statistics Canada report is shedding light on the housing conditions for international students.
The study found that international students — especially from India — were more likely to live in unsuitable housing in 2021 than Canadian-born students.
Brampton, Ontario is one of two municipalities that have the largest proportions of Indian students.
More than 60 per cent of international students were living in unsuitable housing in Brampton and Surrey, B-C.
