In May of 2022, the unidentified remains of a child were found in the Grand River in Dunnville.
Now, the Ontario Provincial Police has released a three-dimensional facial approximation and new Unsolved video in the hopes of identifying her.
Her body was found in marshy area known as Grand Island, south of the boat club, downstream from a dam and near a busy bridge.
That was OPP Detective Constable Darryl Graham, who said police were able to narrow down where the body must have entered the water.
They have also been able to get more information, like narrowing that age of the girl to between 10-and-a-half months and three years of age.
OPP Detective Inspector Shawn Glassford says testing has also been able to shine some more light as well.
The hope is that with the new video and the images, someone will come forward.
A 50-thousand-dollar reward is also offered for anyone who can give information that leads to the child’s identity.
