A gosling rescue in front of Unilever in Simcoe.
On Friday, 10 employees were out front of the building when they saw two adult geese and 6 goslings crossing the road – the parent geese and 5 of the goslings walked around a grate but one the other did not – falling through the hole.
The team jumped into action, quickly locating a long-handled net that could be used to retrieve the gosling that had fallen over 6 feet into a small pool of water.
The gosling was cleaned up and released back to their family, safe an sound.
