One man is face several charges for what appears to be two incidents that occurred during one morning in Simcoe.
Police first got a call regarding a disturbance at a Kent Street North address where a dispute took place leading to the victim being physically assaulted and suffering minor injuries.
Later that morning, police got another call – this time about someone forcing their way into a shed on a Court Street property and stealing items earlier in the day.
Officers say this is the same individual, who was already in custody due to the disturbance.
46-year-old Jason Balcomb of Norfolk County has been charged with:
- Break, enter a place – commit indictable offence,
- Fail to comply with Probation Order.
- Assault with a weapon,
- Assault,
- Fail to comply with Probation Order,
- Unlawfully in a dwelling house.
