A vehicle stop leads to several drugs seized in Simcoe.
Officers pulled the vehicle over Monday evening on Colborne Street South and had sufficient grounds to arrest the driver for drug-related offences.
A search of the occupants and the vehicle led to the discovery of suspected cocaine, crack cocaine, and Percocets, along with Canadian currency and drug paraphernalia.
Charged with the following alleged offences is 42-year-old Joey White of Norfolk County:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine,
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – opioid (other than heroin),
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 – in Canada.
The accused was detained in custody to appear at a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice located in Simcoe.
Charged with the following alleged offence is 35-year-old Lisa Barber of Norfolk County:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine.
