Earlier this week, the province released the 2024 budget with a much higher than expected deficit.
We spoke to Haldimand-Norfolk MPP Bobbi Ann Brady, who has been burning the midnight oil going page by page over the budget.
One thing she has a concern with is the amount of money the province is putting behind housing, instead of developers footing the bill.
She said looking at the budget, she is wondering when other projects on the books are going to be done before these new projects get funded.
She also said the PC government frequently mentions the Carbon Tax, but isn’t doing much about it other than complaining.
She is also concerned about how big that deficit is growing.
Our story on the budget can be found here.
