Norfolk County has announced a parcel of land, originally slated to house part of the community HUB project and then later penciled in as land to develop affordable housing, has instead been sold.
In a release, it says the transfer of a parcel of land that will provide additional funding for the Haldimand Norfolk Housing Corporation’s Regeneration Strategy.
The amount it was sold for was not disclosed.
The 1.5-acre segment of land is located at the northwest corner of Ireland and Decou Roads in Simcoe.
