Things will be hopping in Downtown Simcoe this weekend.
MobileMend started the ball rolling last year by planning a fun Easter event in Downtown Simcoe that saw families travel to participating stores picking up goodies.
Morgan Xiola is the marketing and business operating manager at the store, and she talked about how this idea came to be.
So she started the ball rolling, asking businesses if they’d participate and letting the public know.
She found out her little idea had a big draw.
So, the event is returning this Saturday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. and the Downtown community is all in.
Xiola says there will also be a special guest as well.
Chair of the Downtown Simcoe BIA Brian Jones said he is thrilled to see local businesses putting their best foot forward and coming up with these great ideas.
He also added this has fostered a sense of community amongst those business owners who want to see the success of the neighbours.
