
Our local street crime unit has had a busy week.
On Monday, they managed to apprehend a Norfolk County man with an outstanding warrant in Port Dover – seizing suspected methamphetamine in the process.
Then on Wednesday, the Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant at another Port Dover residence seizing a quantity of suspected cocaine and ecstasy (MDMA), as well as Canadian currency and drug paraphernalia.
Charges related to the outstanding warrant arrest:
Charged with the following alleged offence is 50-year-old Patrick ST. LOUIS of Norfolk County:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance – methamphetamine.
The accused was held in custody to appear at a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice located in Simcoe.
Charges related to the search warrant:
Charged with the following alleged offences is 69-year-old William STEVANOVICH of Norfolk County:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine,
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – other drugs,
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000 – in Canada.
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located in Simcoe on Tuesday, March 19, 2024.
