The Norfolk OPP are looking into several thefts in Teeterville.
Police say two vehicles have been stolen and several other thefts from vehicles have taken place recently.
Below is a breakdown from police about the thefts.
At approximately 3:15 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2024, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated a theft of a motor vehicle at an address on Caroline Street in Teeterville, Norfolk County.
It was determined that shortly beforehand, an unidentified individual or individuals attended the address and unlawfully removed a vehicle located on the property.
The vehicle was described as a white 2018 Hyundai Elantra sedan. A photograph of a similar vehicle is attached for reference.
At approximately 6:06 a.m., the Norfolk County OPP Detachment investigated another theft of a motor vehicle at an address on Teeterville Road in Teeterville, Norfolk County.
It was determined that at some point during the early morning, an unidentified individual or individuals attended the address and unlawfully removed a vehicle located on the property.
The vehicle was described as a grey 2012 Dodge Journey SUV. A photograph of a similar vehicle is attached for reference.
At approximately 9:06 a.m., the Norfolk County OPP Detachment investigated a theft from a motor vehicle at an address on Palmer Street in Teeterville, Norfolk County.
It was determined that at some point during the late evening or early morning, an unidentified individual or individuals attended the address, unlawfully entered a vehicle on the property, and took a quantity of miscellaneous items after gaining entry.
At approximately 11:45 a.m., the Norfolk County OPP Detachment investigated another theft from a motor vehicle at an address on Teeterville Road in Teeterville, Norfolk County.
It was determined that at some point during the late evening or early morning, an unidentified individual or individuals attended the address, unlawfully entered a vehicle on the property, and, after gaining access, took bank cards and other items. The stolen bank cards were subsequently used to make purchases at several businesses in the Hamilton, Ontario area.
At approximately 1:13 p.m., the Norfolk County OPP Detachment investigated a similar incident at an address on Caroline Street in Teeterville, Norfolk County.
It was determined that at some point during the late evening or early morning, an unidentified individual or individuals attended the address and unlawfully entered two vehicles on the property. No items were reported stolen.
At approximately 8:39 a.m. on Sunday, February 18, 2024, the Norfolk County OPP Detachment investigated another theft from a motor vehicle at an address on Brantford Road in Windham, Norfolk County.
It was determined that sometime within the preceding two days, an unidentified individual or individuals attended the address, unlawfully entered a vehicle on the property, and, after gaining access, took a pair of black Maui Jim sunglasses.
