Church Out Serving was busy on Christmas Day.
Many volunteers were out at Riversyde 83 handed out a free hot Christmas meal to anyone who needed it.
That was Eric Haverkamp talking to us about the success of the event.
The meat donated by Annex Media and Toyotetsu, and were cooked and carved for Church Out Serving by Townsend Butchers.
Haverkamp said it was both beneficial to the public who was served the food, but also the volunteers who helped hand it out that day.
One thing that made this year special was that they leaned more into the spirit of Christmas, instead of simply being a place to enjoy a hot meal with company.
While Haverkamp is thrilled with how the event went, he wants the public to know that Church Out Serving is there to help year round.
