It’s the oldest light festival in Ontario has arrived!
That was spokesperson Lucas Wilson.
The Simcoe Christmas Panorama kicked off this past weekend with the official light up.
Wilson went on to say that donations are vital to their yearly operations, as upwards of $10,000 is needed annually to simply fix the lights that have broken over time.
Those who have visited the Simcoe Christmas Panorama is the past, would have noticed a large number of lit up story book characters scattered throughout Simcoe’s downtown parks. Wilson notes there’s a good reason for that and explains the history of the Simcoe Christmas Panorama.
And while much has stayed the same, the Simcoe Christmas Panorama has grown to feature more than 60 displays and 500,000 lights.
