Elementary school teachers in Ontario are being told they will soon get more details about a tentative agreement signed between their union and the province.
The Elementary Teachers’ Federation is set to share more details tomorrow about the deal covering 80-thousand workers, which would avert strikes for the next three years if ratified.
The deal comes after more than a year of bargaining.
Now Ontario’s education minister is urging two other unions representing teachers in Catholic and French public schools to agree to contract deals.
