A new shop offering freeze dried goodies and other tasty treats, have officially opened their doors in Norfolk County.
YummyFreeze, located at 15 Colborne Street North in Simcoe, is owned and operated by husband-wife duo Shannon O’Marra and Alex Miranda, who take your favourite foods and turn them in to fun crispy treats with the help of a freeze dryer.
For those unfamiliar, O’Marra explains.
They currently offer a number of different freeze dried candies and fruit, along with some other unique to them items notes O’Marra.
And while the process has been such an incredible journey so far, she explains where the idea to launch this latest venture came about.
Miranda adds that they have been active in the local community, popping up at local fairs and other events, and this storefront seemed like the perfect next step.
YummyFreeze celebrated their opening day this past Friday and will currently operate from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
