For nearly 40-years, a “Fair trade” sale has been happening in Simcoe – and it will be continuing yet again in 2023, though with a new name.
That was Gordon Potts.
They are working with a charitable group in Cobourg for this fair trade, as they are able to work with the Ten Thousand Villages in the states and other groups as well.
If you’ve never been to one of these sales, and aren’t sure what a “fair trade” is, Potts will catch you up.
There are lots of options available as well, especially ahead of the Christmas season.
In the end, it is a win-win situation for everyone involved.
It is taking place at First Baptist Church on Friday, November 3rd, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Admission is free.
If those dates won’t work for you, there is always another option.
