While the EQAO results in the Grand Erie District School Board are improving, they still continue to fall below the provincial benchmarks in every category.
EQAO assessments include Grades 3 and 6 reading, writing and math; Grade 9 math; and Grade 10 reading and writing through the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test.
Results for Grand Erie in Grade 3 reading, writing and math, Grade 6 math, Grade 9 math and the OSSLT success rate all showed improved or maintained results from the previous year’s assessment.
