Two people charged for trafficking drugs.
The arrest came after a traffic stop occurred Wednesday evening just north of Simcoe.
Police seized a quantity of suspected cocaine and fentanyl, along with Canadian currency and drug paraphernalia.
21-year-old Andrew MacDonald of Norfolk County was charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – opioid (other than heroin),
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine,
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000 – in Canada,
- Failure to comply with Release Order – other than to attend court.
21-year-old Issac Blakemore-Taylor of Norfolk County was charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine.
