The 2023 Ontario 55+ Summer Games will be close to home.
Between August 9 and 11, Brantford and the County of Brant will be co-hosting over 1,000 participants including athletes, coaches, support staff, officials, and spectators from across the province.
There will be 18 sport competitions to take in over the event, including 5 Pin Bowling, Bid Euchre, Billiards, Bocce, Carpet Bowling, Contract Bridge, Cribbage, Cycling, Darts, Euchre, Golf, Lawn Bowling, Pickleball, Running, Shuffleboard, Slo Pitch, Swimming, Tennis, and Walking.
The games begin with opening ceremonies on August 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre, with competitions running the Thursday and Friday at 15 venues in Brantford and the County of Brant.
