A unique name for a one of a kind location coming to Waterford.
Belching Barista is set for it’s grand opening this Thursday and Friday on Alice Street in Waterford – a special coffee roastery and tasting bar.
Owner Tim Belch, where the unique name stems from, told NorfolkToday about this journey into coffee bean roasting.
It was an experience that just stuck with Belch, and eventually it lead to the purchase of their first coffee roaster.
For a few years now, they’ve been selling their coffee online but a decision was made between Tim and his wife Erin to go to the next steps and open up a brick and mortar location.
Tim was born and raised in Norfolk County, and saw a need here for this kind of set up.
Belch said when you you go into the shop, you’re in for an experience not just a cup of coffee.
They were so excited about the store opening up they made their grand opening a two day event, going from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday and Friday as part of Waterford’s Starlight Shopping event.
There will also be daily door prizes and a two-day grand prize of a 1 year’s single coffee subscription.
After the grand opening event, the Belching Barista Roastery will be open from 7:30am to 3:00pm Tuesday – Saturday.
