Get out to a Provincial Park this Friday on the Ontario Government
Studies show spending time in nature can improve our mental, physical, and social well-being.
Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parks, David Piccini shared his excitement.
Ontario Parks is offering free day-use access to provincial parks this Friday, July 21st.
Minister Piccini told us about opportunities in his home riding of Northumberland Peterborough South.
This annual celebration is part of a global movement to promote the incredible health benefits of getting outside in nature.
MPP David Piccini told us there’s also about a 30 by 30 challenge running in August.
So get out for 30 minutes a day for 30 days and enjoy the incredible health benefits of getting outside in nature.
“As the Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parks, I encourage all Ontarians to take advantage of this opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors, immerse themselves in the splendor of nature, and experience first-hand the restorative power of our provincial parks. I hope you’ll join us at Ontario Parks on July 21. See you out on the trails!”
