Tomorrow is Camp Day.
This is a special event held at Tim Hortons locations meant to raise money to send kids to camp.
Local restaurant owner, Cheryl Nelson, said the camps are for kids in financial or emotional hardships where they work on self-esteem, goal setting, confidence building, and responsibilities.
At the Queensway location in Simcoe, and the Delhi location, the firefighters will stop by with a big truck for the kids to see, there will be a raffle for both an adult and children’s prize basket, a merchandise table and more.
One-hundred per cent of the money from each coffee and iced coffee sold on Wednesday at all Tim Hortons location will be going towards supporting these camps.
