It was a busy day for the Norfolk General Hospital Foundation and 98.9 myFM.
Over $10,745 was raised during the Radiothon today as we broadcast live between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the Simcoe Farmer’s Market.
The money is going towards a new bedside monitoring system for the Emergency Department.
The system is vital to keep nurses informed about the wellbeing of each patient, but has a hefty $360,000 price tag to replace it.
If you missed your chance earlier today, you can still donate at ngh.on.ca/foundation.
We will update this story with the final numbers after they have been tallied up.
