The message “don’t drink and drive” is meant for the road and the water.
On Saturday evening, the Norfolk OPP Marine Unit stopped and investigated a vessel in the waters of Lake Erie located off Turkey Point.
As a result, police charged a 49-year-old from Brantford after it was discovered they were impaired.
Additionally, they were operating the vessel without personal floatation device or lifejacket of appropriate size for each person on board.
