A young driver is facing several charges, including stunt driving, after being stopped last Friday.
At around 10:50 p.m. officers spotted a vehicle travelling at an excessive speed down Cockshutt Road.
As a result of a traffic stop, 19-year-old Carter Jacob Vanderschee of Powassan has been charged with failure or refusal to comply with demands, stunt driving at an excessive speed, speeding, novice driver blood alcohol above zero, and young driver blood alcohol above zero.
He is set to appear in court at a later date.
