Tomorrow is McHappy Day.
Simcoe McDonald’s Restaurant Manager, Patti Sullivan, and Owner-Operator, Ellen Carew, stopped by the radio station to tell us a bit about the upcoming event.
Sullivan was excited to introduce Carew to the community, as this will be her first McHappy Day in Simcoe.
While this is her first McHappy Day locally, she grew up participating in this event.
Carew explained how the money is raised and where it goes.
The money raised in Simcoe supports the Ronald McDonald House in Hamilton, near McMaster Children’s Hospital.
The Simcoe Special Olympics athletes will also be on hand to help raise money.
You can order at the counter, through the drive thru, or on DoorDash to support the McHappy Day fundraising. As a reminder it is usually a busy day, so make sure you plan ahead and give yourself plenty of time.
