
A big goal for a community with a big heart.
The Port Dover Lions are once again hosting a month-long food drive for the Port Dover Lifeline Food Bank, following last year’s successful campaign.
The event will kick off at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 1, in the Elmer Lewis Parkette.
The goal last year was $40,000 and they hope to do the same this year.
– Cash or cheque donations can be made at the Port Dover Scotiabank, Lions Silver Lake Market Saturday’s.

– The Lions will also have their Firetruck at Roulstons parking lot every Saturday and Sunday in May taking non-perishable food and money donations.
– A bottle drive will take place Saturday May 6th 10:00am-4:00pm at the Roulstons parking lot.
– The Lions will also kick off their Show & Shine Car show season with a gate collection on Monday May 22nd and 29th
– Special non-perishable food donation boxes will be available at the following locations: Port Dover Community Center, Lions Silver Lake Market, and No Frills
– Cash donations can be made at: Urban Parisian, Dover Dairy Bar, Stoney’s Home Hardware, Lions Silver Lake Market and Lakeside Savings.
