
A teenager is facing charges after forcing a Brantford school into a lockdown.
On Wednesday afternoon, Brantford Police responded to Pauline Johnson Collegiate & Vocational School after it was reported a youth was in possession of a knife and brandishing it in a threatening manner.
Officers located the 15-year-old student and took them into custody. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
The teen was charged with Assault with a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, contrary to the Criminal Code.
