Ray and Amie Ferris are well known in the community, and they are getting lots of attention provincially as well.
Last month, Ray attended the Annual General Meeting for the Ontario Real Estate Association when he got quite the surprise – he was the recipient of the Cardarelli Legacy Award.
For those not aware, this is a newer award named after a man who was beloved in the real estate community that is meant to highlight the great things that realtors are doing.
Ray is the second person to ever receive this award, and it makes it even more special that he had a personal connection to the first man to receive it.
While Ray got this special nod, Amie is making plans for a big move in 2024.
This foundation has a purpose that Amie had to get behind.
Amie felt this was a natural fit for her, as fundraising and event planning is something that comes natural to her at this point.
Over the last 40 years, the Foundation has granted raised more than 16 million dollars for shelter-based organizations throughout the province on behalf of the Ontario Realtors.
