
A Brantford woman is facing several charges for fraudulently seeking the assistance of registered Doulas across Ontario.
The 24-year-old allegedly sought services from labour assistants for false pregnancies and stillbirths multiple times between June 2022 and February 2023.
Police did not release the number of victims, but did say the incidents occurred in multiple community throughout the province.
As a result of the investigation, Kaitlyn Braun is facing 10 counts of criminal harassment, 12 counts of false pretenses, four counts of fraud, three counts of sexual assault, and three counts of indecent acts.
