Waterford is the place to be this summer if you wanna play ball.
Waterford Mixed Slo Pitch is in a unique position of having room for new teams to join up for some Spring/Summer fun.
That was Treasurer Chalyce Woods.
What makes this event great is, if you are over 19, it’s something you can sign up for – whether you are a seasoned player or someone picking up a bat for the first time.
They are looking for full teams to sign up, minimum 16 and maximum 22, but at least a third of that team needs to be women.
They begin playing in May on Sunday’s and Wednesday’s leading up to a few big games on the tail end of summer.
Woods added that whenever these games take place, it really builds a community both in the diamond and the family there supporting them.
A Full Roster and League Fees must be submitted no later than April 20th, through the groups Facebook page.
