A big game goes this weekend – and it would mean a lot if you showed up to cheer them on.
The South Coast Special Needs Sledge Hockey Team is taking on the Norfolk OPP for another championship game.
That was Constable Jeremy Renton who says so far, the OPP have not been able to beat these skilled athletes, but they’ll give it a good try this Sunday.
If you want to come out to this free event, with extra encouragement to local sports teams to show up in jerseys, the action begins at 2 p.m. at the Waterford Arena.
While it is free to attend, they would appreciate a donation to the food bank upon entry.
