Members of Norfolk County council said their goodbyes to Teresa Olsen at their meeting last week.
Olsen, the County’s Municipal Clerk, has been with the organization since April 2021.
Mayor Amy Martin started off the goodbyes for Olsen.
Martin noted Olsen brings everyone peace of mind, and she has set the bar high for her future replacement.
Councillors around the table echoed the mayor’s sentiment.
The clerk extended thanks back to those in the room.
She did not say what the next chapter of her career will hold.
The County is in the process of hiring a new clerk, with the job posted and the interview process set to begin around March 6.
