Another big event for teen girls is returning to Norfolk County.
The 9th annual Dream It Be It Event by Soroptimist International of Grand Erie is coming up later this month.
That was Laurie Cappe.
She said after three years of holding it virtually, they are excited to have girls return under one roof for this empowering day of activities for highschool girls from grade 9 to 12.
One focus on the day is looking at all careers that are available those who attend.
Guest speakers will also be addressing the group throughout the day, with the theme this year being timely.
The girls will be getting a lot from the speakers, who all have incredible stories to share, but they also will have opportunities to grow as a group.
The event is completely free with food and transportation provided.
Below is a list of speakers planned for the day.
There is a cut off of 60 students, so you are encouraged to register early for the February 25th event.
You can do so here.
