The Norfolk OPP want to stop a common trend in the county.
That was Constable Ed Sanchuk.
This past week alone, police have sent out releases regarding two seniors losing thousands of dollars to different scams in the area.
The goal of this seminar is to show you all the main scams they are away of, and signs to look for as new ones are bound to pop up.
This seminar takes place on February 22nd from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Junior Farmers Building.
Sanchuk said this next part is important: You need to register.
The OPP has seen an increase in reported frauds with hundreds of thousands of dollars being lost to various scams occurring in our communities.
