It’s that time of year again in Norfolk.
That was owner Mary Peazel from Courtland Bakery.
From now until the Tuesday after Family Day, they are serving up the traditional Paczkis!
It has officially been 23 years since they first served a Paczki at the bakery, and it’s turned into something people look forward to every January.
With that, people really love these tasty stuffed treats – which is why it’s best to call ahead.
We spoke to Mary on Wednesday, the second day of serving the goods, and she says the demand is high out of the gate.
If you are new to the area, here is the kind of variety you are looking at.
She stressed this pastries are stuffed full.
There is no “jelly” to be found, they use the real fruit flavours.
More information can be found on their social media page.
