
A Brantford Police Service K-9 assisted in the arrest of a Waterford man and two Hagersville teenagers.
Mack, the PSD, located and apprehended the three suspects who attempted to flee from police with a stolen vehicle.
The vehicle had been seen driving in a dangerous manner in the city, and was reported in numerous incidents in recent days.
After deploying a tire deflation device officers located the unoccupied vehicle in the area of Burtch Road and Cockshutt Road in the County of Brant.
PSD Mack located and apprehended one of the suspects who was concealing himself in thick, tall bullrushes, after tracking around 600 metres through rural property. Two additional suspects were also located by PSD Mack hiding in close proximity within the bullrushes.
As a result, 20-year-old Andrew MacDonald of Waterford, a 17-year-old male, and a 16-year-old female of Hagersville have all been charged.

Flight from Peace Officer- Sec. 320.17 of the Criminal Code

Obstruct Police- Sec. 129 (a) of the Criminal Code
Drive Motor Vehicle- No licence- Sec. 32 (1) of the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario
Fail or refuse to stop – Sec. 216(1) of the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario
Escape by flight; willfully engaging in police pursuit – Sec. 216(3) of the Highway Traffic Act
A 17-year-old male from Hagersville, stands charged with:
Possession of stolen property under $5000- Sec. 355(b) of the Criminal Code
Obstruct Police- Sec. 129 (a) of the Criminal Code
Failure to comply with Judicial Release- Release Order- Sec. 145(5)(a) of the Criminal Code
A 16-year-old female from Hagersville, stands charged with:
Obstruct Police- Sec. 129 (a) of the Criminal Code
Possession of stolen property under $5000- Sec. 355(b) of the Criminal Code
