The COVID-19 Assessment Centre at West Haldimand General Hospital will expand its services to allow assessments of both adult and pediatric patients for influenza-like illness starting this Wednesday.
The hospital says these changes will help meet rising community demand and ease pressures on area emergency departments.
The clinic will be staffed by physicians, nurses and medical professionals.
Hours of operation for the assessment centre, now known as the COVID, Cough, Flu Care Clinic, will be 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday to Friday.
