
A Norfolk County driver is facing several charges after fleeing from a crash.
Police responded to a single-vehicle collision on Charlotteville East Quarter Line Road at around 9 p.m. on November 11.
The motor vehicle left the roadway and entered the ditch, but 42-year-old Jason William Jackson left the vehicle and fled on foot before police arrived.
Officers located the driver and took him into custody, charging him with operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs, operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration 80 plus, failure to stop after accident, disobey stop sign, fail to report accident, and two counts of driving while under suspension.
No injuries were reported.
