November is Woman Abuse Prevention Month and Haldimand Norfolk Women’s Services is hosting an event to spread awareness.
This year is the tenth anniversary of the Wrapped in Courage Campaign, and HNWS will also be selling Canadian-made, fair trade scarves in the signature purple colour.
The event will include live music from The Wild Vines, and a keynote from Amber Wardell of the Ontario Association of Interval and Transition Houses.
There will also be a vendor market, cash bar, and silent auction.
The event is being held on November 10 at 7 p.m., taking place at Capitol 33 in Delhi.
Admission is free, but a donation of a non-perishable food item would be appreciated to help stock the Women’s Shelter.
