A collection of local art is up for sale.
The 2022 Norfolk Potters’ Guild fall sale is scheduled for later this month.
Nancy Brown, a member of the guild, explained what the group is.
Twenty-five of those members have pieces up for sale at the event, which is the highest amount the group has ever offered in the 30 or so years the sale has been happening.
There is going to be a wide variety of art available.
She added that you don’t have to spend a fortune to get a piece of local pottery.
The charity table at this year’s event will be going towards Riversyde 83, with 100 per cent of the proceeds from that selection is going to the cause.
The sale takes place at First Baptist Church at 129 Young Street in Simcoe through the Talbot Street entrance. They are open Friday, November 18 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and again on Saturday, November 19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
They are accepted cash, Visa, MasterCard, debit, or cheques.
Masks are not mandatory, but they are appreciated.
The Guild is also asking anyone that has reusable bags to bring those to save plastic.
