The Special Investigations Unit has concluded an investigation involving a case in Tillsonburg.
Director Joseph Martino found no reasonable grounds to believe an OPP officer committed a criminal offence in connection to a collision that seriously injured a 26-year-old man.
The collision occurred on June 26 when an officer in a marked police SUV was travelling east on Lisgar Avenue. A westbound motorcyclist entered his lane and was ejected from the vehicle.
The male operator suffered a fractured pelvis, right ankle, and skull.
Martino said there is no evidence the officer did anything to cause or contribute to the collision.
