Police are seeking the assistance of Canadian and United States residents after human remains were located in Lake Erie.
On Tuesday at around 3:40 p.m. a body was found while the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre Trenton and Canadian Coast Guard were conducting training exercises in Long Point.
He is described as a white male, 5’9 to 5’10, weighing between 160 to 180 pounds, with brown hair.
He was wearing a hoody with a “RED MTN” logo of the front of the sweater that is blue, black, and grey in colour as pictured below. He was also in jeans, and black hiking styled running shoes.
A post-mortem examination has been scheduled to determine the cause of death.
The Norfolk County OPP Crime Unit is continuing to investigate and is asking anyone to contact them 1-888-310-1122 if they have any information that can assist investigators in identifying the deceased.
