A total of 19,401 ballots were cast in Norfolk County during the municipal election.
With 53,713 eligible voters, that makes up a 35.6 per cent voter turnout.
County Clerk Teresa Olsen said the advanced polls turnout was high, with 11 per cent of the eligible voters choosing to cast their ballot before Monday.
She was also happy with how staff handled the busy election day.
There was a slight delay at the beginning of the day due to a technical issue.
