Residents of Wards 2, 3, and 4 had a chance to hear from the candidates in their area last week.
A full house at the Delhi District German Home came out to hear each of those running answer questions both from the Delhi and District Chamber of Commerce, and the audience.
Those in attendance included Lucas Tulpin and Linda Vandendriessche for Ward 2, Michael J. Columbus for Ward 3, and William Murray, Jeff Smrcka, and Chris Van Paassen for Ward 4.
Not in attendance was Jeanette Gomori-Cole for Ward 3, and Tony Lasanowski for Ward 4. Both of these candidates have dropped out of the race, but their names will remain on the ballots and they stepped down after the official nomination day.
One of the questions asked to the candidates was what is their biggest weakness, which got some unexpected answers.
The answers were as follows:
Ward 2
Lucas Tulpin:
Linda Vandendriessche:
Ward 3
Michael J. Columbus:
Ward 4
William Murray:
Jeff Smrcka:

Each of the questions asked fell under the umbrellas of leadership, municipal red tape, housing affordability, business development, and protecting agricultural land.
The debate was not recorded by the Chamber.
