Police are looking into an attempted theft of an ATM machine in Langton.
On Friday in the early morning hour, a Good Samaritans contacted 9-1-1 after observing two people in a pickup truck pull an ATM from the wall of the property – causing extensive damage to the building and machine.
Both suspects then realized that they were being watched and immediately fled from the area.
When they fled the scene, they struck a parked vehicle vehicle as well.
The passenger of the vehicle was described as 5’6 to 5’7, short with a stocky build. He was wearing a white hoodie with black lettering.
The driver was described as 5’6′ to 5’7, short with a stocky build. He was wearing a red hoodie with blue sleeves with a black mask covering his face.
The stolen vehicle used in this crime is described as a grey coloured, 2003, Chevrolet Avalanche.
