
The Canadian Cancer Society-CIBC Run for the Cure is coming up this Sunday.
This is one of the only “small town” runs to take place in Canada, as most locations happen in the big city.
Gail Catherwood helped spearhead this movement and is looking forward to runners meeting in person this year.
One change though, is when you do meet in person, it will be at a different location.
One thing that one change though, is the experience of an in-person CIBC Run For The Cure.
Catherwood anticipates up to 400 people will be at the event, as that is historically the number they see.
When you do some, they ask that all donations be handed in beforehand, as they are hoping to avoid cash at the event itself.
Catherwood says people in the community clearly know how to donate virtually as well, as over the past few years, almost everything has been digitial and the community continued to show up.
